Job Description

The Service Technician is responsible for repairing and reconditioning equipment in the profit center and/or customer locations. Responsible for installation of equipment for customer accounts and is responsible for diagnostics of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing problems and takes corrective action. Provides customer assistance in resolving customer questions, problems, or complaints regarding equipment.

Job Responsibilities

•    Service and repair all types of equipment pertaining to both OCS and Vending accounts to meet company standards.  Use all service and repair notices and stickers.

•    Install and maintain all specialized equipment as required while meeting established targets set by management team.

•    Clean machines, parts, and accessories to meet equipment and manufacturers standards.

•    Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of Service Department.

•    Responds to all service calls within 4 hours to meet client needs and expectations. 

•    Communicate effectively with all customers on a professional level to properly represent ARAMARK Canada Ltd.  Use all service and repair stickers as required.

•    Serve as relief driver when necessary.

•    Duties as assigned by the Management Team.

•    Attend Staff and Health & Safety meetings.

•    Participate in Service Stars, WHMIS and other training as required.


•    Candidate must have basic technical skills in dealing with both electronic & refrigerated equipment.

•    Must posses a valid class 5 drivers’ license and have an excellent driving record/Drivers abstract required. 

•    Must be energetic and physically fit in order to meet the physical requirements of the job.

•    Must be able to communicate professionally and effectively deal with the public.

•    Must be bondable and pass police check.
