Title: Group Manager

An exciting opportunity as Group Manager has arisen at Aramark UK to look after one of our key education clients. The Group Manager will be responsible for 2 sites (Colchester and Braintree), one of which is very small so the majority of your time will be based at the bigger site.
This role is responsible for developing and executing strategy, advocating for your clients, driving engagement and delivering positive financial results.
We are recruiting this role on a full time and permanent basis and the role is predominantly Monday – Friday, with very occasional out of hours work.
**An Enhanced DBS check is required for this role.**
**A full UK driving licence is required for this role.**

A day in the life of a Group Manager:
- Overall ownership and accountability of operational management and financial performance of the units
- Implementation of marketing strategy and schemes including new products, planograms, procedures and menu specifications
- Sustainable mindset when implementing business changes in the operation
- Work and develop good commercial relationships with suppliers
- Knowledge of all applicable personnel policies, labour laws and agreements
- Ensure strict compliance with Aramark Hygiene and Safety requirements
- P&L: prepare and manage accurate projections
- Oversee the performance evaluation process for staff on site
- Plan and lead team management meetings and daily briefings
- Lead appropriate contract negotiations with client to achieve contract sign off
- Prepare and present client monthly meeting
- Identify & unlock opportunity for growth
- Develop strategic plans & value proposition
You’ll be set up for success if you have:
- Operational experience at management level within the contract catering industry
- Ability to lead motivate and develop a team, with a passion for service excellence
- Flexibility and ability to work on own initiative
- Experience of P&L management
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
