We are currently recruiting a Chef to work with our team RAF Lossiemouth

• £11.44 per hour
• Full time – 35 hours a week, 5 days out of 7. 1 in 4 weekends! Shifts ranging from 05.00-19.00

What you'll be doing

• You’ll be working with a great, supportive team.
• Responsible for preparing meals and following recipe sheets and complying with food safety procedures
• Reporting to the Supervisor Chef, work as part of a team in different catering outlets
• Preparing food for military dining facilities and hospitality events
• Undertake any relevant training that is required and learn procedures and standards for all kitchen tasks
• Work with the Supervisor Chef and Kitchen Manager regarding the maintenance of food levels, and ensure minimal wastage
• Preparation of service areas and points.
• Assist in general kitchen cleaning and deep cleans
   

Experience

• Relevant culinary qualification
• 1-2 years experience in a kitchen environment
• A confident team player who is eager to learn new skills and flourish in a busy, fast paced environment
• Flexible approach to hours and duties
• Good level of spoken English
• A DBS check is required
