We are currently recruiting a General Kitchen Assistant to join our team at MRC Harwell, Harwell Campus, Didcot, Oxon, OX11 0RD

What you'll be doing
- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of the kitchen staff
- Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment
- Serving customers both on the till and food service counters.
- Receive and store food deliveries, ensuring the FIFO method is followed
- Stocking up of drinks counter and confectionary
- Dish collecting and pot washing / operating the dishwasher
- Deep cleaning of fridges and other equipment
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service
Experience
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
