Sussex County Cricket Club, the world’s oldest professional sports club, is looking for enthusiastic Casual Hospitality Assistants to join our team at The 1st Central County Ground in the heart of Hove. Our historic venue hosts thrilling cricket matches, including T20 clashes and County Championship fixtures, as well as large-scale concerts and corporate events. From serving matchday crowds to providing VIP hospitality, this is a chance to be part of an exciting and fast-paced environment.

Duties
You will be offering our guests the best possible experience, serving food and drinks efficiently and be engaging in a polite and friendly manner. This is a guest facing role where you could be working in a busy environment. The role is varied and may include working behind the bar and supporting with table service
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Providing a high-quality dining experience through exceptional customer service
- Being responsible for the preparation, set-up, and closedown of the restaurant
- Being confident in providing excellent menu knowledge and having the ability to support guests with allergen and dietary enquiries
- Ensuring smooth and efficient table turnover whilst providing memorable experiences for our guests
- Preparing and serving drinks on our bar
- Cashier related duties including processing orders
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest service
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
This is is a casual role on an hourly rate of £12.21
