3-4-4-3 rotation (10:00 AM - 6:30/7:00 PM) with Wednesdays as a rotating day off

Crystal Reservoir (Pikes Peak)

Winter Location:

Colorado Springs, Denver & Pueblo

Job Description: 

Aramark Sports and Entertainment is seeking two dependable, guest-focused individuals to serve as Runners / Bussers for the Blacksmith Catering BBQ Trailer at Crystal Reservoir. As part of our seasonal operation along the scenic Pikes Peak Highway, you’ll play a key support role in maintaining a clean, welcoming environment and assisting in efficient food service. 

You’ll be responsible for keeping dining and service areas clean, well-stocked, and organized, delivering food orders to guests, and assisting with light prep or cleanup tasks as needed. This is a great entry-level opportunity for those who enjoy working outdoors and contributing to a high-energy, team-oriented environment.

Compensation Data

COMPENSATION: The hourly rate for this position is $17.74 to $17.74. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer.  This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.​

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all customer-facing areas, including tables, condiment stations, and trash bins 
• Restock napkins, utensils, sauces, drinks, and paper products throughout the day 
• Serve as a runner, delivering food orders from the kitchen window to guests in a timely and friendly manner 
• Assist with light prep duties during slower periods (restocking sides, packaging sauces, etc.) 
• Support daily setup and end-of-day breakdown of outdoor seating and service areas 
• Help with light dishwashing, sweeping, and sanitizing work surfaces 
• Communicate with kitchen and cashier staff to ensure smooth service flow 
• Follow all Aramark safety, sanitation, and guest service standards 
• Represent the Blacksmith Catering brand with professionalism and energy

Required Qualifications

• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions 
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods 
• Positive attitude, team mentality, and strong attention to detail 
• Ability to work a 3-4-4-3 rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays 
• Reliable transportation to Crystal Reservoir (carpooling encouraged due to limited parking) 

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). 

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in food service, customer service, or cleaning roles 

• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus 

• Interest in festival or mobile event work (possible off-season opportunities available)

Located at 9,200 feet on the Pikes Peak Highway, Crystal Reservoir is a popular stop for visitors heading to the summit of America’s Mountain. From Memorial Day through Labor Day, the Blacksmith Catering BBQ Trailer serves up mouthwatering smoked meats and burgers to thousands of guests. 

Following the summer season, the trailer continues operations at festivals and pop-ups across Colorado Springs, Denver, and Pueblo, offering off-season employment opportunities for team members who wish to continue.
