The Assistant General Manager (AGM) supports the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of executive dining operations at a prestigious client site. This includes managing front-of-house and back-of-house teams, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining high standards of service, quality, and compliance.

Compensation Data

COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $120,000. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer.  This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

Operational Leadership:

  • Assist in managing daily dining operations including premium dining, catering, and conference services.
  • Ensure smooth execution of service for high-profile clients and VIP guests.
  • Monitor food quality, presentation, and service standards

Team Management:

  • Supervise and mentor service staff, culinary teams, and supervisors.
  • Support hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Foster a culture of hospitality, accountability, and excellence.

Client Relations:

  • Maintain strong relationships with the client and guests.
  • Respond to feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to align service delivery with expectations.

Financial & Compliance Oversight:

  • Assist in budget management, cost control, and inventory oversight.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Support reporting and documentation for audits and reviews.

Event & Catering Coordination:

  • Help plan and execute executive-level events, meetings, and catering services.
  • Coordinate logistics, staffing, and menu planning with culinary leadership.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in hospitality or food service management, preferably in executive or premium dining.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience managing teams in a high-touch, client-facing environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and operational best practices.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
