Title:  Hourly Supervisor

Job Description

The Hourly Supervisor assists management by overseeing the daily operations of the location, maintains all standard operating procedures, and fosters a positive work environment. The Supervisor position is vital to overseeing the operations of the location to ensure all food is prepared and served according to health and safety regulations, the facility is clean, and the customers are satisfied with their services.  The person in this role creates the tone and personality of the dining location by being an advocate and promoter of training and development, excellent customer service, product knowledge, and adherence to safety and sanitation policies.

Job Responsibilities

• • Supervises the location’s hourly and student staff as well as general operations.
  • Directs daily tasks and activities for front line associates.
  • Must have high-level product knowledge and ability to train the staff to effectively serve the customer.
  • Attend and/or lead food service meetings with staff.
  • Responsible for opening and closing the location according to expectations of the management team.
  • Ensures the operation has a team work ethic to support a healthy work environment free from harassment
  • Documents employee and/or customer issues in the unit, and work with the manager to address as necessary.

Qualifications

• Must possess exemplary customer service skills

• Attention to detail, organization skills, strong written/verbal communication skills

• Serve Safe Certification

• Ability to frequently lift, carry, push and/or pull objects up to 50 pounds, while using proper transfer techniques and appropriate assistance equipment

• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time, up to 75% of the shift.

• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Must be well groomed and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times

• Must be able to pass extensive background check for secure facility
