Job Description

The Floor Stock Lead owns the end-to-end floor stock process for the behavioral health center, ensuring accurate ordering, efficient stocking, cost transparency, and operational consistency across all units.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute all floor stock ordering for assigned patient care units, ensuring appropriate par levels and product availability
  • Stock and maintain floor stock inventories on units in accordance with established standards, safety guidelines, and infection control requirements
  • Monitor usage patterns and run cost and utilization reports related to floor stock items
  • Analyze data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost control or process improvement
  • Communicate findings, concerns, and recommendations to departmental and site leadership in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain accurate documentation and inventory controls to support audits, budget goals, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with clinical staff, nutrition services, and leadership to ensure floor stock supports patient care needs while minimizing waste
  • Serve as the subject matter expert and process owner for floor stock operations, including training support and standardization efforts
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory management, cost containment, and operational efficiency
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in supply chain, healthcare operations, or related field preferred
  • Prior experience in inventory management, supply ordering, or healthcare support services strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret cost and usage reports
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication with multiple stakeholders
  • Proficiency with the use of tablets
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Ability to push/pull carts, lift supplies, and move throughout the facility as required

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
