Job Description
Aramark is seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Product Owner to lead the development and delivery of innovative commerce solutions across our Retail and Hospitality platforms—including POS, Kiosk, Mobile, and Computer Vision Self-Checkout systems. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping the product vision, managing the roadmap, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful, data-driven solutions that enhance the client and customer experience.

You will be responsible for driving end-to-end product execution, from concept through deployment, while balancing business goals, user needs, and technical feasibility.
Experience with Computer Vision point-of-sale technologies is preferred.

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of Retail and Hospitality commerce products using an iterative, Agile approach.
• Collaborate with Aramark stakeholders to understand business objectives, identify pain points, and deliver validated product solutions that drive positive business outcomes.
• Own and manage a prioritized backlog of feature requests aligned with strategic goals, balancing scope, time, and budget constraints.
• Rapidly prototype and iterate on product features to accelerate learning and value delivery.
• Plan, execute, and participate in sprint and release cycles, ensuring timely delivery of high-impact features.
• Serve as the primary liaison with vendor partners, managing relationships and facilitating communication between internal teams and external vendors.
• Oversee product deployment to Aramark client accounts and define scalable, repeatable intake and deployment processes for handoff to Tech Operations when appropriate.
• Develop and maintain clear support processes for accounts using the product, ensuring continuity and service quality.
• Navigate internal governance processes, including Information Security and Architecture Review Boards, engaging stakeholders and subject matter experts as needed.
• Share product roadmap updates, capabilities, and release information with technology and business leaders; act as the product’s subject matter expert.
• Champion the collection and analysis of data on product usage, adoption, and performance to guide strategic decision-making.
• Work closely with cross-functional, co-located teams across product, business, and technology groups.
• Ensure comprehensive product documentation is created and shared with relevant stakeholders, including Field Operations, Deployment, Support, Marketing, Sales, and Clients.
• Lead or contribute to cross-functional initiatives focused on optimizing the product portfolio across various lifecycle stages.
• Track project progress, manage risks, and escalate issues as necessary to ensure on-time and on-scope delivery.
• Identify and implement opportunities to drive operational efficiencies through the use of AI and emerging technologies.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience required.
• Experience with computer vision self-checkout, POS, kiosk, and mobile technologies is preferred.
• Prior experience in product management is desired; experience as a business analyst or project manager within a technology team is also valuable.
• Demonstrated success in managing and delivering products for mid- to large-scale organizations using a mix of internal teams, vendors, and third-party resources.
• Strong understanding of process development, operations, procurement, testing, systems deployment, and ongoing support.
• Proven ability to manage client expectations, communicate effectively with external vendors, and deliver quality product outcomes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business terms and articulate business needs as technical requirements.
• Demonstrates creativity, innovation, and solution design skills in complex problem-solving scenarios.
• Understanding of analytics, web, mobile, cloud, and data-driven business applications.
• Strong prioritization skills and the ability to independently manage tasks—or seek support when needed.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Skilled at breaking down complex problems into clear, actionable steps.
• Experience with Retail or Hospitality technology is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
