Job Description

The Marketing Manager uses the 4 P’s of Marketing and is responsible for implementing and executing marketing programs which support accelerated profitable growth, consumer satisfaction, and client retention within a single or multiple account(s). The Marketing Manager helps to support all critical business initiatives including pricing, selling of meal plans, overall sales growth, and consumer engagement for their Aramark Collegiate Hospitality and Aramark Sports + Entertainment. The Marketing Manager upholds and represents the Aramark Collegiate Hospitality and Aramark Sports and Entertainment brands, the client’s brand and all branding elements. In addition, this person will help ensure that we are heightening the fan experience and engaging alumni and guests to participate whether live or virtual in ASU athletic events.  

Job Responsibilities

  • Support several marketing initiatives focused on in-venue marketing collateral, social media support, client-facing presentations, and broader marketing initiatives
  • Develop strategy and manage the upkeep of concessions and premium signage, as well as print and digital menu boards
  • Be onsite for events to ensure proper implementation, monitor marketing program performance, and solicit guest feedback
  • Collaborate with Aramark Sports + Entertainment to measure and refine marketing initiatives based on data insights
  • Exercise creativity and independent judgment in developing and evaluating content for internal and external communications
  • Execute and implement programs to increase sales, ensure pricing accuracy, drive mandatory meal plan upgrades, and increase voluntary meal plan sales
  • Identify opportunities to implement new innovations, technology solutions, products, and services that support sales growth and client retention
  • Work with marketing and operations teams to write unit-specific, proactive client marketing and communication plans, and track results
  • Provide necessary training and support to ensure brand standards are fully executed at all identified points of service, resulting in sustainable growth in sales, customer satisfaction, and increased profits
  • Work collaboratively with the Collegiate Hospitality and Sports + Entertainment teams to implement all national programs

Qualifications

  • Requires at least 3 years of product, marketing and / or merchandising experience 

  • Requires people management experience for at least 2-3 direct reports 

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business or marketing 

  • A proven ability to increase sales and measure the impact/return on investment on implementation of programs 

  • A demonstrated ability to be proactive and assertive in identifying and capturing growth opportunities, as well as thinking creatively and strategically 

  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills including presentation, public speaking and client interaction skills 

  • Must be able to efficiently utilize social media and MS Office products to accomplish work tasks 

  • Valid driver’s license and vehicle 

  • Minimal Travel
